Most of the cases in this area arise from Breach of Contract. Here, the two conflicting parties examine the cause that led to the breach and may come to a monetary so that the two parties are partially satisfied. Civil Mediation is conducted with the presence of a neutral mediator. His/Her role is to keep the negotiation alive, without taking sides.

Not all settlements end up with one party paying the other money. It is also possible to reach an agreement in which no money is exchanged. Perhaps there are certain services that one party can perform for another. These services amount to value, or perhaps a future delivery of goods can be the way to settle the breach. There are many possibilities that can be explored.
